Perception and reflection
An rx chokehold or redirection, or both
Someone said this mercury in retrograde has a Glock and my immediate thought was, they are not wrong.
But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it has a urgent, pressing, in your face kind of energy that draws your attention to what is needed vs a lesser more common look again, feel again, rediscover the why kind of energy that is more common with mercury rx.
I cannot even begin to explain how much has filtered through this magical screen both personally and collectively… but what I can say is, if you’re paying attention instead of reacting, if you are feeling what comes up instead of minimizing what comes in an effort to be productive, if you are being present instead of anxiously waiting for the time to pass, than this little screen is chock full of learnings, lessons, messages, and nutrition.
I call it a screen because in a way this time period has been like a screen door.
It has reminded me of a favorite childhood activity, watching searchlights at night through the screen door at my grandparents house. I could see the lights flashing in the sky, smell the scent of elm trees, rose, and freeway dust, feel the breeze filtering through the tiny holes in the mesh of the screen, and hear the song of the crickets from the hedges of the front yard. Not quite outside in the world where all of these things existed, but still in communication with all of it from a more grounded space. Pressed against a veil like portal from one world to another.
Thats how the information is hitting. It’s on and in me, but it also isn’t.
I have a daily spiritual practice called the watchtower. It’s a place of my own design that I go to for cleansing and clearing, connecting to the divine, and for higher spiritual practices than I can engage with in this realm.
As I discussed some of the things I’ve been noticing lately with my spirit team, I received a new modality to clear and release the ash of what’s processing, while being able to internalize what’s needed. I received an upgrade to my space the first I’ve ever had since its inception in 2024. I also for the first time in forever have been able to clear old contracts and create more aligned ones.
But more than all that, I’ve gained some really clear visibility to the why of some of really difficult roads I’ve traveled in the last five years. My perspective has opened and shifted from where I didn’t even know I was stuck before this timeframe set in. I’m reviewing the course I’m plotting as a result.
Like Lauryn Hill says: “Everything, is everything. What is meant to be will be. After winter, must come spring. Change, it comes eventually.”
I guess the reason I’m sharing all this (as vague as it is, but I’m learning that I don’t need to always share the whole of everything) is: you still have time. If you haven’t already done so, take advantage of it. Sit with the screen in earnest, and let it reveal the plot.
